The charachterictics of the wines from this grape make them well-worth discovering. They have an intense raspberry colour, a penetrating fruity aroma, overlaid with a delicate floral scent. They have a high alcohol content, good acidity, age well and have a characteristically velvet finish.
It is still different from all the others. If the excellence of a wine lies in its balance, Abadía da Cova combines the complexity of great reds with that particular elegance born of the Ribeira Sacra homelands: it will allways tempt you to one more glass. The deep colour depicts a mature wine containing a whole range of sensations.
